Premier changed my life op de Luisterpaal

Na een intensief proces van artiesten benaderen en tracks verzamelen is dit de indrukwekkende lijst van namen die hun bijdragen leveren met o.a. Jiggy Dje, Big2, Adje, Jayh, Sticks, Tastic, Zo Moeilijk, Rbdjan, Leeroy (Zwart Licht), Murda Turk, Brainpower, Gikkels, M.O. & Brakko en vele anderen. De 30 tracks tellende mixtape, samengesteld door Daily Paper en DJ Jane Doe. Omdat de compilatie zoveel tracks heeft is de tape opgedeeld in twee stukken, klik hier voor deel 1 en hier voor deel 2. Het project zal vanaf 6 december te downloaden zijn en in de avond volgt de presentatie in de Sugar Factory te Amsterdam. Op de avond zelf zal DJ Premier aanwezig zijn om een live set te draaien. Als klap op de vuurpijl zal naast een aantal Nederlandse acts ook Royce Da 5’9” een showcase geven.

De originele uitspraak is J Dilla changed my life dus in dat opzicht is het best een skeere titel. Premier is de Dre van het oosten, maar niet de beste van de wereld. Madlib, Dilla, 9th Wonder, Jam master Jay, Nujabes en Delic (ook in internationaal opzicht) zijn in mijn opzicht vele malen interessanter en minder eenzijdig que formule. Toch blij om te zien dat er niet alleen maar westcoast en rickross/lil wayne word geluisterd

- We had so much fun working with the coplue to create the whole decor for the wedding. I thought the team at Eventions was going o shoot me when I told them we needed over 200 candles hung from the ceiling but they didn’t. Your amazing shots captured every detail. Beautiful Marie!!
