Freddie Gibbs haalt uit naar J. Cole op nieuwe track 'The Big 2'
Freddie Gibbs is terug met zijn nieuwste single "Big 2", waarin hij geen blad voor de mond neemt en zijn pijlen richt op J. Cole, JPEGMAFIA en Benny the Butcher.
"All this talk about these threes and who's the biggest / I got Fours and Lords cliqued up with GDs like a coalition," rapt hij, terwijl hij een duidelijke verwijzing naar Cole en de "Big Three"-discussie geeft. Hij noemt J. Cole geen serieuze kandidaat van de "Big Three" nadat hij de beef tussen Kendrick Lamar en Drake aan zich voorbij liet gaan.

Freddie Gibs vuurde vorig jaar al shots af op J. Cole op zijn album 'You Only Die 1nce'. Op zijn track 'Rabbit Island' zei hij toen: "Rabbit baking cakes and all of dese’ pussies gon’ get a piece Gangsta Kane I ain’t ashamed like Jermaine I won’t delete nigga." Dit was als reactie op J. Cole zijn disstrack 7 Minute Drill richting Kendrick Lamar, die Cole al snel verwijderde.
Op de track disst Freddie Gibs ook de rappers Benny the Butcher en JPEGMAFIA: "I seen my ex ho with the opps I never get into drama / They both got crackhead mamas they got some sh*t in common." Verder daagt hij de rappers alle 3 uit: Never cared about no rapper status, I stayed in position / But these bars will leave some scars across your heart, boy." Fans speculeren over mogelijke reacties maar tot nu toe heeft nog niemand gereageerd op de track.
