Zus van Tupac vecht tegen de tranen bij onthulling van zijn ster op de Walk of Fame

27 jaar na zijn dood heeft Tupac gisteravond zijn welverdiende ster op de Walk of Fame. Hij ontving de ster voor zijn werk als muzikant en acteur. Hij kreeg ster nummer 2758 en zijn zus was aanwezig voor de huldiging.

Pac bereikte in 25 jaar wat veel artiesten niet in hun hele leven halen. Hij speelde in films als Juice, Poetic Justice en Above the Rim en bracht meerdere classic albums uit. Sekyiwa Shakur hield een emotionele speech bij de onthulling van de ster: "Tupac knew deep down that he was always meant for something great. And as his little sister I had the privilege to watch that greatness unfold. Today we're not just honouring a star on the ground, but we're honouring the work and the passion that he's put into making his dreams come true. His heavenly star will shine a little brighter today and once again he has made us extremely proud."
