Sizzla Kalonji, een grootheid in de dancehall en reggae, stond
DJ Khaled op zijn laatste drie albums bij. Hij was te horen op de intro van Grateful, Holy Mountain op Father of Asahd en These Streets Know My Name van God Did. Voor de albums ontving hij platina platen, maar het lijkt nu tot op het bot beledigd door de DJ/producer.
Op een aantal video's op Instagram is te zien hoe hij de platen verbrand terwijl hij zijn onvrede uit: “DJ Khaled, man, ya insulted me. You insult Jamaica,” aldus Sizzla. Hij lijkt zich beledigd te voelen door de grootte van zijn naam op de plaat: “Wrong plaque ya send me. Burn the devil, burn corruption. Wrong plaque ya send me. Can’t even see me name.”
Terwijl de platen branden zegt de 46-jarige artiest nog: “You’re not the best, you’re the worst.” Overigens had hij wel de foto's van Khaled z'n zoon verwijderd voordat hij alles in de brand stak: “Babies are innocent,” zei hij. “This is my godchild right here, okay? Rastafari! Put this in my studio.”
