The Game doet boekje open over 'G-Unot' ruzie met 50 Cent

Het is weer bijna als "vanouds" tussen The Game en 50 Cent, maar dat is niet altijd zo geweest. De rapper uit Compton schoof onlangs aan in de All the Smoke podcast van Matt Barnes en Stephen Jackson om te praten over alles en nog wat, maar hij deed ook een boekje open over zijn veelbesproken beef met zijn voormalige G-Unit-collega 50 Cent.

Om ervoor te zorgen dat The Game zijn mond zou houden over 'G-Unot’ gedurende hun ruzie, heeft 50 Cent volgens The Game hem een miljoen dollar betaald. "Lotta people don’t know this, but 50 and Jimmy Iovine gave me $1 million to stop saying G-Unot, hey wrote me a check, they bought it. I had to trademark the G-Unot. And you remember when I was going around with the rat and doing all that shit, that shit hurt–killed G-Unit.”

Hij vervolgde het interview met: "That shit was a hot commodity at once, G-Unit clothing. Nggas was wearing the sweats, headbands, the masks, everything. That shit died, bro. So they had to pay me. I should have asked for more but them nggas gave me a million. But I’m a hood n*gga, a million dollars to stop saying this word? Where's the check? They wrote the check and I stopped saying it."
