Vandaag is het compilatiealbum The Birth of a Nation: The Inspired By Album uitgebracht. De plaat telt 16 tracks en op het album horen we nummers van o.a. Vic Mensa, Meek Mill, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Ne-yo, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne en Gucci Mane.
Het album is geïnspireerd op de biografische film The Birth of a Nation, een film over de tot slaaf gemaakte Nat Turner die in Virginia een slavenopstand begon. De trailer en het album check je hieronder.
