Akademiks daagt Lil Baby uit tot een gevecht: "I Will Choke You To Death"

Lil Baby haalde twee maal uit naar Akademiks op zijn album It's Only Me. Really sturdy, a wall, n*gga, can’t beat me / Akademiks know he ain’t as rich as me / Brodie ready to eat for a twenty piece / I ain’t got nothin’ to say to you mini-mes,” zegt hij op From Now On en op Top Priority gaat hij nog een stapje verder: “Akademiks, niggas think they can’t get touched / Ion be on computers much, CED turnt me on to youtube / I keep tryna tell em I’m different from what they used to.“

Akademiks lachte erom en vroeg zich af waarom Baby niet zijn "opps" of officier van justitie Fani Willis disste. Later kwam Akademiks erop terug en zei dat hij zelfs zou getuigen tegen de rapper als het erop aankwam: "I’m showing up to the court with a walkman. Click. That n*gga said Akademiks could get touched. I’m in fear for my life. Judge, you know what to do.”

Vannacht gooide Akademiks opnieuw olie op het vuur. Tijdens een Twitch stream daagde hij Lil Baby uit tot een gevecht en noemt Baby een "retarded rapper". Het maakt hem zelfs niet uit of er prijzengeld tegenover staat. Volgens de blogger wil geen enkele rapper het tegen hem opnemen ondanks meerdere uitdagingen.

“I will fight Lil Baby for free or for money. I just wanna get in the ring with him. You ain’t got no 4PF, n-gga. I will choke you to death, I will punch you in your face. You’re not doing shit. Stop it. You’re a fucking retarded rapper, you can’t do shit. Stop it. Who gon’ stand on that?" aldus Akademiks tegen de rapper uit Atlanta.
